still fairly good value thoughcgi ebayo

They seem to havehanged their pring poly, ireased the pre and free delivery, still fairly good value thoughcgi.ebayo.ukMetal-Film-Resistor-1-4W-Assortment-Kit1-2500-50valuesW0QQitemZ320308279175QmdZViewItemQQptZBIEltronomponents?hash=item320308279175&trksid=p39110.m14&trkparms=72%3A168366%3A265%3A1239%3A1240%3A1318Yahoo Synth group
OK, I just ordered from from Sure Eltrons. When I started seahing Ebay I remembered I've bought stuff from them before and it worked great. 2000 resistors, 50 different values, 40 of eh. All for $12.99 iluding shping. That pre is just stupidompared to what you would pay over theounter where I live. I also ordered a kit of 1000apitors (2.4pF~0.1uF) for $9. cgi.ebayomwseBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350156376738cgi.ebayomwseBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350157063615PerPerI'm on Twitter
Be veryareful when ordering resistors fromhina !A while bk I was selting 100k resistors for the summing stage of a O, the mostommon value in my belt was something like 100.6kwhen I later wanted to selt from that group the values where nowhere near what I had initially measured, even worse .. the longer I measured a resistor the lower its value got. I first thought the multimeter was at fault, but another one gave me the same readings. So then I suspted the resistors ( having seen fake transistors I wondered if they would mess with something asheap as a resistor )I took a few resistors and dided to do some temperature testing on them, I pked a "suspt" resistor, aarbon filmresistor desoldered from a board from the junk box, a resistor from farnell, one fromonrad, and another one from a lal shop.700)this.width = (700) " olk= "javart:window.open('members.home.nlguidomennenChinaRIMG0430.JPG','','rollbars=1,toolbar=yes,resizable=1,menubar=yes,dirtories=yes,status=yes') " alt= "ed Image, might have been reded in size.lk Image to view fullreen. " >The result is quitelear, I bought two sets of resistors from two different suppliers and both where ordinary 5%arbon film resistors marked as 1% metal film. The fake ones are fairly easy to spot1. Most if not all fake resistors I had had iron leads ( a magnet will help you out there ) 2. The leads of these resistors are VERY flimsy3. if you heat them ( soldering iron ) the resistae drops, in a metal film the resistae ireases (slightly). So be veryareful where you buy espially for synth applations the prision and the temperatureoeffient really matter !
Previous Page : would be easier to keep upgraded
Next Page : I ve bought high qualityomponents from Shure before though so I m not
