Make sure your power tool is entirely adequate. It can get a little dangerous if you're not familiar with the plug-sockets and sources of power. Safe-guard yourself by using a power conditioner. Carry it with you no matter where you go. If you use one live, it can be the very thing that would save you! It is not a awful idea to get into the habit of using one all the time, even at home, to protect against power surges. If you are not using this then you might want to power up with batteries. If so, do not forget to bring back ups.
