DIY synths do it for2009-05-05 00:00:00 A lot of people doing DIY synths do it for the press more than to make mus. If you're more interested in making mus, I'd steerlear of any DIY projt, unless it's a small one so youan get a feel for if it's what you want to do.

thanks for your response, now I know I'm not going to try to do a DIY myself. I don't know if I should this here or open a new top:someone mentioned PAIA, I took a look at their website(paiaom), they give a full DIY kit(iludingase) for the FATMAN analogue synth for about 250$. This synth features 2O, 1F, 2eg, MIDItVonverter (needs an external MIDIontroller) , not bad for that pre, I think.
